Questionable Color
Will a mint state or proof coin rejected for questionable color be likely to grade if it is dipped white and resubmitted? I realize that artificial toning can be used to mask hairlines; however, I'm not convinced that the typical coin rejected for questionable color has deliberately applied artificial toning.

My avatar isn't a coin that I ever owned. I chose the avatar from a menu when I joined the forum.

Assume it's toning from a kraft envelope or old album, not deliberate doctoring.

Catch what? A dip in JewelLuster/EZ-est? No. And the Sniffer is rarely used on non-Secure Plus submissions, FWIW.
