  Pictures would be helpful.
  Aside from that, I can't think of anything other than a dipping (in Jeweluster or some other etchant) that will remove tone from a silver coin, if that is your intent.
  The downside is that the coin was most likely cleaned previously, then AT'd, so you may wind up with a washed out looking coin,
  or you may expose hairlines from the prior cleaning(s).
  Good luck either way.

  If it's the coin linked, it has XF detail, and it will look a little less dreadful after that tone is removed, IMO, but still destined for a genny slab

  The colors were done with acid. Several years ago somebody on Ebay sold the "kit" to tone coins with. From my experience, whenever you try to remove the toning the color is a flat, ugly, unnatural, off white. I'd get rid of the coin as is and never purchase anything like that again. Agree with WalkerGuy21, it is an XF, not AU or as sold BU.

  XF details, and there is a harsh cleaning under that toning. I would submit it as is to get into a Genuine holder as AT instead of cleaning, I would bet you'll get a little more for it if so.
