Wanna play guess the grade Morgan toner?

I decided to shoot for color. Has tons of luster

And the typical pl fields as many 1881-S Morgans have.

Could be a gem but it's always hard to tell from color shots. There looks to be some rub on the cheek which would hold it to a 65 at best.

there is a lot of rub under all that toning all over the obverse

Pretty nice but the reverse will hold it to a 65+.......I think!

Then how could you give it a gem+? I see it in the left obverse field which precludes it from a gem grade IMO.

silly billy, all things are not equal. have not ye seen ms65 in ms67 holders? i'd say more but i do rather enjoy my stay here as there appears to not be a substitute worthy of comparison.

oops, how darest i leave out the main point. this is a GTG not grade the coin

. what i think the coin is and what the grade on the holder is a moot point ><

edited as i left out the "t' in not, doh - when you people gonna fix that

Yep....on my third week of heavy dosage steroids for the ol' kidney transplant and it has me wide awake for days.
