And I didn't even purchase one. Anyone else get one sans paying? Just wondering if it is some glitch in the shipping system.

I just signed up for the website whenever they first opened and I forgot about it until recently when browsing their online catalog. One thing for sure is they don't have my credit card information.

Nope. Perhaps Legend-Morphy's policy? I'm registered to Heritage but they never send me their nice catalogs for free.

I received mine on wednesday and on Thursday someone called me on the phone to make sure I received it.

I also received a call from Julie yesterday. While there is nothing in the catalogue in which I am interested, as a potential consignor I am watching carefully. I like the photos and structure. I could do without having the PCGS #'s listed on each lot as, to me, it just adds clutter to the description without adding any relevance. I also like how there is a wide-spread range of items.

Has anyone gone through it and noticed the huge price differences in the estimates on the 'L' lots compared to what they were offering them for on their site? Heck one lot is listed @$17.5k on the www and estimated at $8.5-9.5. If I were purchasing off that site I'd be a bit miffed at that markup.

It's a very rare coin indeed which Legend marks up even 25% in that price range. Most of their markups are 15-20% and their overall margin is significantly less.

I'm sure that once Laura decides to put the coin into auction that she's going to be conservative with her estimate. You also need to add the buyer's fee to get the total estimate. So, no - there's no way that was the markup on that coin.

That's enough. I registered with their site, and I receive a free catalog too. There were some nice coins in it if I recall; I hope to bid on a few items.

Is anyone going to view the coins? I just mapped it out and the address and the auction is 39 miles from my house. I did not realize they were in PA?
