Is the 1909-O 25 cent in PCGS VG-08 worth 135$

Or can one be found for much lower? Good buy or bad buy at this level? This coin seems to be on a steady up in value over the years + it is a nice coin.

Lolllll
Another 09-O, Fine, nearly full Liberty, E is weak and part of R is missing, strong dentils, some design weakness elsewhere,
perfect circ look - $180 (More 'meat' would run you >2X this price). SOLD
Is one in PCGS F-15 worth 465$ or is that way to much?
Prying them from the hands is another matter.
Up until a couple of years ago this was a 90-125 coin in fine so it was easy to sock away and forget about.
Big hoard got broken up selling for 300 in VF around 2008.
The way it's struck, much of LIBERTY remains on even worn coins, so VG is out there. Probably in large numbers. Pay what it takes, but the reality is, the date sustains it's reputation due to it's condition rarity in XF and AU.
I think that if the coin is really a VF coin that got stuck in a F15 holder, then it may be a fair price. I would recommend researching auction records to see where similar coins have sold.
To dogwood's point - I agree, I see VG's around, and had 3 in stock at one time last year, but have none now. But higher grades get progessively more elusive, to the point where I think they are downright rare in XF - AU. The coin is really not a sleeper, as I think most are aware of its scarcity and that it trades for well above sheet prices, especially at the higher grade levels, so I think the odds of 'picking one off' at auction or via a sheet dealer are pretty slim.
This is FYI for you as an example. I am not connected to this sale in any way.
