Teletrade's latest promo a bit confusing...

On their banner ad, it states, " All consignors who realize over $750 in coins will receive a 0% seller's fee! " .

To me that implies that if the entire consignment realizes $750 or more, consignor pays no seller fee.

But on the actual cosignment form, it states, " 0% seller’s fees apply for all coins/currency lots that realize over $750 in a Teletrade auction."

Here the terms are apparently different, with individual lots that realize over $750 having the fee waived.

So which is it?? Or am I just thick??

You mudt be thick, Very simple:

If your total lots are over $ 750 then 0% Sellers fee.

If your total lots are over $5000 then 0% sellers fee and a $200 credit to your aoccont
If your total lots are over $7500 then 0% sellers fee and a $300 credit to your aoccont
If your total lots are over $20000 then 0% sellers fee and a $750 credit to your aoccont

They need consignments and will pay to get good ones.

In the fine print of the consignment form " Standard seller’s fees apply
for all coins realizing less than $750 hammer." So I must be thick too, because it sounds to me at first that total consignments over $750, but it appears each lot is required to reach the $750. Just like when they did their June promotion, Take 5% off all purchases is JUNE, limit to one invoice in the fine print.

I have an exccutive dealer contract with them and my seller fees are zero pct regardless of price realized. My buyback fee is limited to $5 a coin even if the coin is relisted multiple times bc the bidders did not bid past the reserve (or buy back bid) on the first try.

I recently picked up an estate which I sent thru TTR raw coin service. Over the course of a few weeks most sold but a few came back bc of buyback bids (refused to let them go cheap) and I listed them at website for retail. Almost all have since sold. Overall, I am very pleased with their service, website.

I have also picked off deals at TTR either the bidders were broke, asleep, or did not put a buy back (reserve) bid. I recently had one of these sell at a show for CDN ask +10% which amounted to cost + 65%.
