Time for a giveaway... just... because (winner... ZOHAR!)

Just post once here to win a "surprise package" of inexpensive Darkside coins. This will include some Bahamian proofs from the 1970s, as I found a bunch of those in a recent bulk bag buy. The others will likely come from the same bulk bag. It will be a modest giveaway, but I'll make it interesting, and will likely throw in something non-numismatic like a fossil shark tooth or two. Who knows what. The fun for me will be figuring out what to toss in there.
I'll draw a winner sometime around the end of the month.

<< <i>Also, what is with these forums? I posted after ajaan, yet my post appears first, with a time stamp of 2 minutes before his post... >>
Yes, the time sequence of posts has gotten all hinky. Just like the preview function and my Upload Box. Random features of the site are succumbing to obsolescence vis-a-vis the newer browsers, I guess, and falling of with rusty "clanks" here and there. It's been a gradual decline. I noticed the recent screwy sequence thing has now crept into my PM history.
I just hope the whole thing doesn't come crashing down soon, and there's a patch of some sort that our kind sponsors can install.
Otherwise, I guess I'll see y'all Across The Street.
Feel free to ask for my BST references!

Thanks for the chance

Nope, I am keeping those! One of these days I will discover a comet that will bear my name...for the six months or so before it destroys the earth!

A comet is a frozen ball of dirty space ice. How are you going to write your name on that? Spray paint?

That would be hilarious, now, wouldn't it, Dear Dead King, considering 90% of the coins you'd win came from you in the first place!

I have put together a very nice assortment of fossils for this giveaway.
The coin portion of it I have not selected yet, but will likely be much more random and a bit more mundane. Expect some Bahamian proof coins, of course.
Anybody else want in before the bell rings?
<< <i>Really, in salt-water marsh land? I've been to Jeckyl, Tybee, Sea and a few other islands out there (and Savannah of course) but never found any teeth

Oh, hey, Nessie. It's all in where you look. Location, location, location.
You have to find the places where they dump the dredge spoil sand. Out here in the rural western part of Glynn County, where many of the roads are still sand, they use dredge spoil to resurface them, so all one has to do is walk the dirt roads after a rain, with a sharp eye.
It was raining yesterday and I thought some fossil whalebone pieces would round out this fossil lot and some others I am putting together, so yesterday I went to a place I knew I could just pick some up without any hard searching. There is a boat ramp by the Turtle River, just a few hundred yards away from where I live, and its dirt parking area is surfaced with dredge sand. It was raining lightly at the time. I stepped right out of the truck, and pow, there was an Isurus hastalis- extinct Mako shark tooth, lyin' there all pretty, perfectly exposed. And within three minutes I had seven pieces of whalebone. I put one of those and the Mako tooth into this giveaway lot, so somebody is about to win my finds from yesterday.
Look me up if you're ever in this neck o' the woods again. I'll take you to some spots where I can practically guarantee you'll find a fossil or two.
Count me in.
