Ever wait twenty years for a coin to show up, only to have...

...another one show up two weeks later?
The auction linked above is for a genuine clipped 1933-D Lincoln cent. In case you missed this thread, through the graces of another Forum member I acquired one for my date set after never seeing or hearing of another for over 20 years.
I swear I sat looking slack-jawed at that auction for almost a full minute before coming here. Instead of bidding on it, I'm going to drop a note to another friend who is working on the same set, there's no point in hoarding all of them.

<< <i>Buy them both - seriously. I can't count the number of times that I only got a coin that I needed for my set because I had something equally rare to trade. >>
I know someone working on the same set, I sent him the link and offered him first shot. If he decides for some strange reason not to pursue it, it will be mine.

A clock like that would take some time........
Maybe. Then again, it could go at a rapid clip.
