Got the bright idea of trying to do a die progression with all the "cracked skull" 1915-Ds I was seeing on ebay a while back. Quickly realized they are all different.

Few produce such desireables that are the by-product of failed equipment during manufacture, like those places who mint coins. It's not like we clamor for a faulty tire, or cracked concrete, or broken zipper in clothin (on the contrary). But screw up a coin and we go running after them. I'm guilty, too
