My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.

Love the colors on all of 'em, but I just don't care for the toning pattern- the mottling and/or disturbed portions of the toning.
But that sort of toning goes with the territory on these, I know. It's just not my cuppa tea, that's all.
Do my eyes deceive me, or is that a textile pattern on the '60-P?
Even though they ain't really my cuppa tea, I can honestly say, "hey, nice coins!"
The 63-P looks tantalizingly close to FBL!
The 1963 imo has a chance at fbl , which would be a grand slam, but i have had it graded twice with no luck . i guess i'm finished submitting that one ?

Yes, but it will probably upgrade on the first try for the next owner. Had it work that way for me (both ways) on many occasions. Worst was when Bob Campbell bought my PR66BN 1916 cent and upgraded it to 67BN in a free quarterly submission. Best was when I bought a '77 IHC in PCGS 64RB and upgraded it to 65 on the first try. Both coins had been in multiple times previously.
