1921-P Morgan dollar with rim clip

Picked this up a couple of days ago. Those are not scratches! It's a VAM 3AM with a heavily polished obverse die.
I always thought clips would be easy to fake, but I guess that's because I know nothing about real clips. Under the microscope, I can see the odd metal flow on the letters near the clip. The other letters are sharply struck and normal.
