Check out the new PCGS "Trueview" images of my newly-graded beautifully "Rainbow-Tone

September 16, 2012

I recently uncovered a beautifully-toned hoard of business-strike 1969-D Kennedy Halves, and then selected the fourteen nicest pieces and submitted them to PCGS. Ten of the coins graded PCGS-64 and four graded PCGS-65. However, what in my opinion sets these apart is the toning on these fourteen examples ("Rainbow" in many cases)!

Here are the PCGS "Trueview" images for your viewing pleasure:

Just cause I'm too lazy to open each and every one using cut and paste.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    Simple.

When you go to the trueview screen that you supplied in your original post, make note of the URL.

The only difference between your list and the True View Large picture was the addition of "_Large.jgp"

To post an image on the forum you need to imed the links between tags.

I copied _Large.jpg to the end of each of your list items then copied over the numbers of the list items.

    Easy peasy.

Do a QUOTE on my thread and it'll be as clear as mud.

... the coins also "shimmer" in color as they are rotated image
  • Those are some pretty halves, you should post more often if all you're coins are like that image.
  • This was a pretty tough set to photograph since there was a huge variety of different toning, and degrees of lustrousness.

This one stood out for me, simply because the toning is so unusual.

  • Absolutely amazing hoard. Congratulations! Not even a "+" designation?
