I haven't done much metal detecting in the last 30 years (too little time); but when I did my best finds were an 1834 Bust half dime, an 1850 Seated Liberty dime, and a Pilgrim half dollar.

    Nice to see somebody new make their first post here! Particularly on a day when I had to sadly announce the passing of one of our past regulars.

    I too do not go out like I used to in the 1990s, but still get out a couple times a year.

    Pilgrim half, huh? Now that's cool. I dug an Oregon Trail, once.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
