1833 LM-6 R6

A tough coin to find, even tougher in a high grade.

Very difficult in high grade! How are the surfaces/luster?

The reverse is quite nice with a bit of frost, obviously the bottom portion has been lapped enough to just about erase any evidence of arrows or feathers. The obverse has a few hair lines that I'm a bit concerned about. I'm going to do a bit of high res pics to see what I can see.

<< <i>I love it when one of US finda an extremely rare specimen, chalk one up for the good guys! Whether it gets into a gradeable holder or not it is a great piece in a great state of perservation and if at worse case it has to be put in a gen holder it is still a great acquistion because we know how rare it truly is and there is so much detail to be see on the piece. The lapping on the rev is normal and most come exactly that way. >>

indeed. Here's an example that shows the same characteristics (ex Russ Logan)
