A few pointers from morgansforever and I'm taking images almost as good as he is....:-)

Thanks for the guidance from morgansforever my point and shoot camera is working pretty good.
Although shooting through plastic vs raw (older ANACS slabs) is much more challenging I think overall they came out nice.
It also helps when you choose something fairly easy to shoot such as these proof silver eagles
Sooooo, what do you say about the images?

Ya, I had to break down and stop the free style shooting
Oh well......I conformed and the images are better
As morgansforever mentioned, I need to adjust my lighting as its a wee bright at the 9:00 position.
I gave it a shot on one of my toned copper tokens....came out pretty good looking
Some of the plastic scratches can be seen......working on that problem too.

ASE's are a good start, lot a surface area, much easier than a toned proof IHC.
Great thing about digital photography, if you don't like it delete it and try again.
I owe tons of thanks to Messydesk, Bluevette, Robec, Mark Goodman, Broadstruck and others
for all their pointers and advice.
Keep on shootin,
Scott

He who knows he has enough is rich.
<< <i>Nice but I think you need to diffuse your light...you have some really bright spots. I only mean this constructively. >>
Thanks.....I agree and I don't mind constructive critism....there is no other way to learn anything in life
