I think that you can argue that the only VAMS in the GSA holders that are worth a significant premium are:
1. 1879-CC VAM 3 -- the premium is significant at MS64 or higher grades 2. 1880-CC VAM4 (80/79 rev 78) - significant at MS64 or higher 3. 1880-CC VAM5 (8/7 high 7) - significant at MS65 or higher 4. 1880-CC VAM6 (8/7 low 7) - significant at MS65 or higher 5. 1880-CC VAM7 (80 rev 78) - significant at MS65
The other VAMS are common.
Pet peeve: the 1885-CC VAM 3 (an insignificant VAM IMHO) is worth more NGC registry points than my MS66 DPL (still pop 1). Unbelievable.
Successful BST: dmwjr, ike126, bajjerfan, morganman94, sonoradesertrat, 12voltman, duiguy, gsaguy, gsa1fan, martin, coinfame, zas107, bothuwui, gerard, kccoin, jtwitten, robcool, coinscoins, mountain_goat, and a few more.
<< <i>How much of a premium is placed on an 1882-CC Hitlist-40 VAM-2C counter clash MS64PL in a hard pack vs. a regular 64PL? >>
A PCGS 64DMPL 1882-CC VAM-2C just sold for $836.29 + 10% buyers premium on Great Collections. If it helps, the item number was 71082. Although,I was not the winning bidder,I did notice that it was a pop 1 with that VAM label.
