New to Ancients and can't id this Hadrian Denarius - Need help

I just recently picked this coin up and it was identified as a BM63, RSC 252b, RIC 39a variety... but as best I can tell, the drapery is much different than RIC 39a variety. You will notice the drapery is only on the left shoulder but unlike the 39a, the drapery is more elaborate or ornate. I could use help identifying this one and would like to know the best online research sites. All help appreciated.

Looks like RIC 39b to me. RIC 39b, v has a strap around neck & RIC 39a has more drapery.

I am looking at the acsearch.info site and searched for hadrian 39b and it shows very similar coin but the drapery is quite different. My coin has drapery which seems to have decorative or beaded drapery rather than a smoother circular draper of 39b. The ribbon below hair is also quite different. I am new to ancient so maybe such wide variations are common and not considered different varieties. Again, thanks for help.

Well remember each ancient die was hand engraved. There is a word for that decoration on the shoulder but I cant remember it, it starts with an A. Right on the tip of my tongue too but I own none that feature it

It's an "aegis" on far shoulder.

I'm not really hip to detailed attributions- usually I just browse Wildwinds- but hey, that's a sharp lookin' Hadrian!

Here is mine. It's going off to NGC to be entombed in a little plastic coffin soon. Why? Just because.

I am slabbing my Romans these days, simply because I like to, though admittedly that bucks tradition.

This is a modest coin in terms of grade and is probably a common type but I just like the look of it.
