The Coolest Thing in the ANA Sales Is........

The Stack's and Heritage catalogs are in front me. And the coolest thing are the standing Liberty quarter plasters and models. When you get Roger Burdette to be the guest cataloguer, you know it is a very cool item......as Roger put it, THIS is what a standing Lib quarter is supposed to look like.....

If you start purchasing Coins at their auctions they normaly start sending out cataogs.
Otherwise you can call and ask for one. They may or may not charge you for it. Once you become a customer they are usually fairly fiendly with the catalogs and it may approach a so friendly basis that you feel inclined to call and let them know to cut back on the quanity they are sending.

Normally I am rather pro-dealer but this is a complete abdication of the question.
The definition of cool is NOT "items I think I can make money on."

COOL; equates to a Coin that is WOWing, Unique Like, that singlely posses an quailty or qualities that automatically make it saleable at a potential profit. Its a given.

Not exactly. I personally define cool items as those I might want to bid on, and I can see very little benefit to publicizing those before the sale.

You can go to the Heritage site and order their catalog for a fee, or you can download the PDF file for free.

I always thought the dealer mindset is this. During the auction = "That is way over graded and a stained piece of junk". After the auction = "Great natural patina, Undergraded by at least 2 points, sure candidate for CAC!"
