The '13 T2 has always been a puzzling issue for me. I've never seen one that knocked me out. Coming on the heels of the spectacular T1, one would think they would be its equal. After all, the idea was to improve on it, right? But they never seem to be as fully struck or lustrous, and disappoint in terms of plain old eye appeal. The move away from the textured fields is a subliminal downer, too. the piece you show here has fantastic detail, much better than average. if the luster is as good as the photo implies, I can see 66 easy.

I like the look of that '13 T2. I looked on coinfacts to see what they had to offer and 67 is the highest with a population of 17. Your's, in my WAG, would be a 66 because of the chatter in the hair in the center. I personally think this enhances the look of the hair.

  • Beautiful example- love the strike and subtle color! I would guess this is a 66 or 66+.

You've got some stunning buffs Randy!

I'll stretch to MS67 as there's nothing wrong with it that I can see. If I were picky I could mention some planchet roughness on the right peripheral obverse.
Based on the photo it's essentially unimprovable except for color and possibly luster blast. But that's what makes a MS68. Have they even made 1 of those yet?

Nicer than the 66's shown so far.

    T2's are tough. Easy 66.

  • If it's not in a 67 holder,it should be. Monster strike and nice color too!
