Encounter with a loud mouth.

I hit the local flea market as always on Sunday and stop by the guys I know and conduct business with.
Today was a bit different. After my purchase I was shooting the shat with the dealer. You know, PM's
women, cars, etc. guy stuff. Along comes this fellow yapping about the price of his coins, IMO very reasonably priced.
That DMPL is to much, I don't like that toning, looks suspicious and so on. I kept quiet and let the dealer handle it.
The yapper stuck around and eventually started with me asking me what I collected. Told him Morgans n Peace dollars mostly,
sometimes I'll stray off into Walkers and Barbers. He saw I had some pocket pieces and told me that I buffed those coins, as
no coins could ever become that worn through normal channels. I then went on and told him that Morgans and Peace dollars
circulated until 1964 and were used in slot machines and commerce for decades. Then he started with we have a coin know it all folks, it got pretty ugly.
Then I really burned his blood, when I told him a 1884CC in a PO01 holder may command the same amount as a 63, for there is a market for lowball coins, and MS63 pieces are very plentiful. I bet there's 2 to 3 hundred thousand in 63 condition, nearly 85% of the original mintage was released in the early 1970's, most if not all BU/GEMBU. This guy laughed and told me I had better do some reading and empower myself. At this point, the dealer told him to get the H$LL outa here. I was calm the entire time and actually enjoyed myself. I look forward to seeing him again
Buffing wheel Peace dollar according to the yapper. The way I purchased it a few years ago, a bit more wear from residing in my pocket.
The date is not discernible, so the goal is a total smoothie

What do you call a loudmouth with 2 black eyes? Nothing, you already told him twice!

You can always tell a loudmouth, but you can't tell him much.
Or tell him he was born lucky, cuz he can KYA and you can't.

<< <i>That's why Mark Twain said, "never argue with an idiot unless you want to look like one too." >>
Thats classic, I'm sure glad you posted Twain's truism.
The Bible puts it like this; "A fools mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul." its not funny like twain's, but then again it wasn't meant to be.

You get them all on coin vault. Not only are they rare, they are sold out limited editions.
I don't mean that in a bad way, but certain types will not tolerate people they perceive as "handicapped" for very long.
I never slobber on myself, or that kind of thing.
Another effective use of body language is to break out into a nice cozy yawn. This lets the other person know you're getting tired without actually insulting them.
Don't try this with your spouse.
(that's how I lost mine
Not really.
