  Day to day operations, HA, eBay (facts and past auctions), CDN (coin dealers newsletter/ greysheet) , Token books, Breen's encyclopedia, CPG, Photograde by QDB, Red Book for information. Grading book by Dannreuther. VAM world , CONECA... a few others.
  
  
  I like to get the news from Coin World, Numismatic news, grey sheet, U.S. and Perth Mint, as well as here. None from television.

  Twosides brings up a good point, ebay is great source of information and or finding that one of kind error that I did not even know existed.

  if anything significant happens in the hobby, it's discussed here early if not first.
  
  and if anything really interesting happens in the world, it gets mentioned on here too.
  
  I tend to learn of celebrity deaths, for instance, from this forum before i see it in the popular media

  I certainly get a lot from the forum and will mention it first, but I get my general news from the Numismatic News and a lot from intereacting with some very knowledgeable friends in my coin club. I like to think I contribute, but only a little bit! <Smile> I also have a good friendship with two top dealers.
  
  With regards to knowledge gained from Ebay: With all the overgraded material and cleaned stuff and even counterfit stuff, the shill bidders and bid idiots, does Ebay really reflect the market? Not trying to be a wise guy, just asking a question.

  I use this forum the most, then the NGC forum a little, CoinZip the least. I get much information from the Bust Half Nut Club forum and the club's newsletter, along with the John Reich Collector's journal.

  I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

  As to knowledge from ebay, "all the overgraded material and cleaned stuff and even counterfit stuff, and bid idiots", all very important to know and you can learn all this by scanning ebay and asking questions on this forum. Ebay also has some very killer deals for the knowledgeable.
  
  In my field, major errors, I have learned a tremendous amount from searching ebay.
