1918 S buffalo die crack question

seateddimeseateddime Posts: 6,180 ✭✭✭
Is anyone aware of this date with a rather strong die crack along the top of the date?

I am trying to see if it know and scarce.

Thanks.

Yes, I almost bought an 18-S with a huge die crack through the date, MS-63 . We couldn't agree on a price, so I passed. It was very nice....Joe

Many 18-S Buffalo's have this die crack as well as others.

This is a pic of a 1918-D but the 1918-S also has a similar die crack:

Not sure of its rarity or value, but they do look cool.
