<< <i>the colonial threads in the U.S. Coin forum wouldn't drop like a rock. >>
If this is the ultimate goal, it seems like a simpler, and perhaps more appropriate, solution to keeping colonial threads on the first page would be to simply get more people participating on colonial threads.

Please post one here, Mark. Then it can be the OFFICIAL LAUNCH of the first Colonial Coin Thread that had nothing to do with Colonial Coins until it got to "100".
Hey! Didn't I see that piece on the Indians and Turkeys forum?
No, it was the Native American and Indigenous Species thread.
For a long time I tried to keep up with multiple forums - got burned out. If it's not posted here, it wasn't posted.

Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Noting the rather early hour of my original post would go far to understand it. My routine is to pick up the iPhone after the first cup of coffee is ready, and roll back two pages looking for a Colonial thread. In retrospect however I feel now that all these threads DO belong together HERE. Regardless of whether it may be a thread on colonials or on ASEs. This diversity yet compactness IS what makes this Board stand head and shoulders above any other numismatic forum--------------I do have ONE idea which would be EZ to do and yet allow quick access......that would be on any thread about Colonials, would simply be to find a placement for the word "colonial" in your thread title. That would give us a Colonial Archive and also current threads just by the use of the Search box.

I posted this in another thread, but it will work here too. As contrast is concerned.

No, it's actually a thread about threads about colonials. I am thinking of starting a thread about this one.

I don't have any to post...but RYK does!
Also, Lakesammman's MA Half Cent is a pretty nice contribution to this thread!

I would prefer to keep the Colonial coin conversations here as many of them have educational value.
