Want to avoid disappointment with USPS deliveries?
It's easy. Don't look up tracking numbers online- just wait for your package to be delivered. It almost certainly will be.

That's what I do. Tracking if for dealing with a package if it is late/lost/missing. --Jerry
Most collectors have some level of obsessive compulsive disorder. They HAVE to check the tracking numbers, sometimes several times a day!

I resemble that remark
"Money does not care about speeches on morality. Capital asks whether the rules will remain the same tomorrow. With inflation, people assume price is the problem, and propose regulation—but price is simply the message." - Martin Armstrong

must be nice to live in an area where they actually come to your door!!! my lazy mailman just leaves the sorry we missed you tag in the box, doesn't even attempt to see if I am home!!! during the week the package is always back to the post office before they close, so at least I can go get it if I need the package right away. But if it's a Saturday, the post office closes early so no packages until Monday... it really sucks!!!!!!!!

I have this problem.
Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.

As soon as I right the check (even before I've mailed my payment) I start expecting delivery! OCD? You betcha!

Same exact thing happens to me!!!
I telecommute so I am home all day. I even taped a big note to my mailbox "I am home, knock hard if I have a package"
Does the USPS carrier knock? NO!
I just get the pink slip that they missed me
I think the USPS carrier doesn't even take the boxes/packages with them, they just fill out a bunch of pink slips since they are lighter and easier to carry.
This even happened with a recent Express Mail Guaranteed Overnight Delivery package.
