My father was given these doubloons in New Orleans, 1972. The gold one is quite heavy. Not sure of it's content.

HI All,

I do not have them scanned - but I have a medal struck for the launching of the 2nd Mauretania made of metal from the first Mauretania (1907) which I collect, complete with ribbon and pin. It looks like something Bill might like. No sails...I also recall selling a souvenir 50C that was originally purchased on the Great Eastern when she was new.

One of my newer purchases, one of the most iconic ancient Roman coins: a sestertius minted by Nero showing the Port of Ostia with seven ships on the reverse.

Three of my "Box of 20" coins have ships, as it happens. So that's what... 15% of my collection. Just sorta happened that way.

The ship is pretty tiny on the first one.

They're not all sailing ships.

I found that this recently sold in 2021. Heritage mentioned it was in the The Dickson Collection, but not The Cardinal Collection. Do we need to update Heritage?
