What do you think about this Ebayer's auctions?

I bid on 3 - 2c pieces and a token with no value and won it. The picture shows a cleaned 1855 1/2c with the other coins. Item # 230782865180 The same picture was used in auction #230782297316 which sold yesterday with the same description. I sent this message:

Hi,
I am concerned as I won item number: 230782865180 and you sold the same lot yesterday as item number: 230782297316. What is the deal? Are the coins pictued not what I bid on? Let me know, as I have reservations about paying for something that doesn't exist or has already been sold.

Wow. Genuine coins of nominal value (with a fake coin added), giving credibility to the entire lot. Bidders buy on the belief all coins are real.

  • Look on the bright side ... maybe the ones you get won't be all moldy. image

I agree with you. The photo should ALWAYS be of the actual item being sold. No ifs, ands or buts. End of discussion. Period.
