    It is a 50 ore bronze coin from Norway dated 1999.

    The Standard Catalog of World Coins says that 25.3 million coins were minted and that an uncirculated piece is worth fifty cents U.S.

    This is the proper orientation for this coin, which supposedly has a stylized animal on it:

    Found it penny hunting, and didn’t recognize it
