PSA/DNA Questionable Authentic Blues Signed Jersey - Direct from the Blues

Back Story: Last summer I won an item from the St Louis Blues charity auction...A signed custom Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers jersey from his concert here last May. The jersey included the standard Blues COA that they provide with all of their auction items. Province on the jersey is rock solid. In case the COA ever got lost, I decided to send it into PSA for authentication for future peace of mind. To my surprise, the graders deemed it questionable. When I talked to customer service, they said I will get a letter back explaining what they question as authentic.

The Blues regularly auction off games used, signed jerseys and equipment as well as custom signed jersey's from bands that play at Scottrade Center.

Just curious if anyone else on the board has had something with unquestionable authenticity come back as questionable and what happened?

I had a celebrity auto come back as questionable recently that wasn't. Years ago had two Dimaggio 16x20's that I watched him sign. One came back good, the other as "questionable". Not sure that there is much you can do.

happens all the time - no surprise at all. people seem to forget - PSA authentication is an OPINION ONLY, it doesn't actually guarantee anything.

maybe it's an educated opinion, but an opinion none the less.

Same thing here - just had a Shaq auto rookie come back as questionable that I had signed myself (in front of me) in February. Frustrating, but just resubmit.
