Lets say you want to collect a 'team set' from a championship team.
I am considering doing an auto set of 1961 pirates of ICs/Cuts. Not sure how far to stretch the set.
Assuming noone is impossible, what do you consider a complete team set for a championship team?
Championship game/series roster
Everyone on a playoff roster at some point
Playoff Roster and random key regular season contributors (injured players or mid-season trades that didn't play in playoff)
Everyone that got a GP that regular or playoff game (even the reliever with 1/3 inning pitched all year)

I think the answer is in the question. Start with the smallest set and as you complete (or get near completion), expand to the next if you feel like it.
