Early in the season I had mentioned that I thought it was odd that Cash, etal would hire Boone as the new Yankee skipper. Thinking he had no managerial experience...he has proven to be more than worthy of his position and has the team firing on all cylinders.
Gotta tip the cap to Boonie...my two "large" wagers with friends at the end of the season appear to be in jeopardy at this rate. Those bets are that the Red Sox finish ahead of the Yankees when #162 is in the books. I can only hope the Red Sox can keep pace, as the Yankees continue to appear next to unstoppable. Lots of games left to play, maybe they'll hit a slump.
