Yes, it's true but I still see problems. When you are checking a specific variety, the non varieties for the year are still showing up in the app. I don't know if that's the same case for a desktop though.
Another thing I recently noticed with ebay; if you try to find out all items a given seller is selling, now ebay doesn't give you all their sales for some reason unless you know what they sold and look the item up.
Ebay is really having issues at the moment. I have been having all kinds of problems with my store and just spent another 40 or so minutes on the phone with a rep. They are in the middle of rolling out what they consider improvements according to the rep. who seemed very experienced. I said I wish ebay would not fix what isn't broke! She said while I agree some but what they are doing will be so much better...she said ebay was so 90's! My take is ebay is trying to make their site more I-phone I-pad friendly than computers. My ebay app on my phone isn't making me happy either at the moment!

I don't like cloaking devices, so that results are hidden, any more than the Enterprise liked it when the Romulans had it, but then I guess the roles got switched. Technology should lead to more transparent transactions not more hidden ones.

What's this about? Is this true?
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
More info please.
It's true. They have an "Exclude eBay" button that will filter out those transactions.

With ebayers manipulating prices, I see this as a good choice.

I know they just updated the iOS app a few days ago. Anyone discovered anything else?
Funny, ebay is my main go to place to find a true value of a slabbed coin. lol
Where can you exclude the EBay prices on the iPhone app?
Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.
Strangely I only see the option on iPad. Probably a bug.
Interesting information, thanks !!!

The exclude eBay button has been there for several weeks on the desktop Auction Prices Realized site.
Edit: It's an option I find helpful to be able to turn off and then sometimes on again.

This may be a stupid question, but why would you want to exclude eBay auctions?
