    No,this note is obsolete and has no face value.

    Collector of numeral seals.That's the 1928 and 1928A series of FRNs with a number rather than a letter in the district seal. Owner/operator of Bottom Line Currency
  • LOL, just realized that this is Virginia 1862, and they seceded in 1861

    The 14th Amendment repudiated Confederate and Southern State debts, including this Virginia Treasury Note in 1868. This note is probably worth about $10-$15 as a collectors item.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.
