Can a post be deleted once it is posted here?
Asking this question because today Today I posted a poll about Ebay Global shipping.
After I posted it, it became apparent that the questions asked should have been asked in another way so a yes or no answer was possible. so I wanted to delete the poll.... but ohhhhhh No go. at least I have not found it.

No.
At one point it was an option, but not any longer.

Thanks, that was a fast answer.
Just curious why it could not be a option? there must be some good reasons?
After all, people do make mistakes sometimes or type faster than they think.
I guess it is better to just simply delete all the contents and have the post blank or saying: sorry, mistake.Today is the first day of the rest of my life0 -

The reason they took away the delete option was because too many dormant threads were being bumped and the bumper would just delete their post.

You can always edit but you can no longer delete a post or thread.

I just posted a comment. Then I went to "edit," erased my original post and added this:
I suspect for a POLL it is different. Nevertheless, you can edit the original thread name or delete it and folks won't have a clue about what's going on.
It appears no editing is allowed on the poll section as it is separate.
I tried and was unable.
