1910 sweet caparol pins

I’ve been admiring the beauty of these on eBay, especially in a PSA holders. Has demand for these gone up in the past few years? Would you consider this a sleeper set? I’m thinking of buying a few to have in my collection.

They typically sell way below their supposed listed value. Look how many Ty Cobb pins are just sitting there. Several aren't even being watched by anybody per the watchcount website. They're just not popular like cards. If you want a few, I'd stick with the big names and be very patient.

I'm with Micky on this one Mark.

I think they have a following but my take - "pin guys" who also collect cards?

I like certain pins but have never considered the early player pins like Sweet Caporal.

These are unique in their own right ,and make for good conversation pieces

That's what I like about pins - in general - JR.

I agree with Micky with respect to popularity vs cards.

I have no feeling for pins with respect to value, sale or resale.

Historically, insert coins, e.g., never had the appeal that the cards have - tho - again they're cool IMO.

I would agree - tho I haven't looked at prices - that pins are great alternatives to the higher priced card counterparts.
