Can anybody tell me why this card says Sample on the back ? I honestly don't know why that's why I'm asking
Promotional cards. Some collectors want to have "everything" so they could have some value.
Check completed listings on ebay to see if any have recently sold.

1Tone1: you card looks like one of the so-called Beckett Magazine "samples" from 2002-2003... they were inserted in magazines at 1 per issue for roughly a year or so... some players have 8-9 different donruss/leaf/playoff varieties... some are actually quite rare... notably the "gold" foil versions... I believe the silver foils were inserted at a 10-1 ratio versus the gold and many magazines probably were never sold making for rarities...
