Cert number
Just making sure I understand that if the cert imput comes up to the coin you have in hand you can assume that it has never been reported to PCGS as stolen, right?
Stolen coins have a red flag or such, right?
thanks,

Your best recourse would likely be to ask PCGS customer service directly about this policy.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
I would hope so.
It would require everyone who has stolen coins filing a report with pcgs
And
Pcgs having no mechanical errors while doing so
I understand that it would be necessary to report to PCGS but I'm asking that if it is reported the cert lookup would not show the normal. I'll call PCGS tomorrow.

I should add that my "stolen" 1878cc that we talked about a couple of days ago shows that the cert number is not available for lookup.
It has been found and delivered to the buyer and now will wait on PCGS reinstating the cert lookup on it.

Yeah
They usually make the cert lookup pull nothing.
