I saw this note on ebay, does not look like your typical old note in terms of old paper: https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Gold-Note-1870-San-Francisco-Gold-Bank-FR-1136-National-Gold-Coin-note-5/232731314666?hash=item362fde09ea:g:REYAAOSwbDZazy88
A dealer and I got stung by a counterfeit, a New Bedford 1865 note.

Thanks; it looks like PCGS is also doing the problem notation on the back of their certification now, on this VF note: https://currency.ha.com/itm/national-bank-notes/san-francisco-ca-5-1870-fr-1136-the-first-national-gold-bank-ch-1741/a/3557-20293.s?ic4=ListView-Thumbnail-071515
!!!
I would look long and hard at the seller's information (feedback, previous items sold, location) before bidding on any of his items.
