To a non runner, that is probably true.
Oh I don't mind running but who wants to watch it? I mean I'll watch Usain Bolt run because its an actual race marathon watching is like watching people play checkers
I have run marathons and enjoy watching them start to finish especially during the Olympics. I was never close to competitive but get the strategy and enjoy the near effortless cadence of sub 5 minute miles for 2 hours.
