I am a relatively new collector....3yrs or so..... Here are a few of my favorite "Toned" items. Since I started another discussion about artificial toning... what do you all think about the 1948D?

Really nice looking coins!
Very pretty coins! Are you shooting for a while set of nickels toned similarly?
I hope you don't mind, a couple from my last years submission (with free truviews)
I have one almost complete dansco of beautifully toned jeffersons. Each has been acquired for 80 dollars or less. The 1946 and 1948 above were cracked out... Since beautiful coins is what I enjoy I had to start a second dansco and have a few jeff's with no home.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
This is a great coin. My 38's are pretty good, but I believe this is splendid

Very nice!
Very colorful examples. Especially the 48-D.
Hoard the keys.
Beautiful Jeffersons!! I love that target toning.
Love all of these Jeffs!
1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
Of the colors Red, Magenta, Blue, Cyan, Green and Yellow, some say green is the least seen. But I rarely see a heavy Blue. But there are also Orange and Gold and Silver or light grey, dark green or blue, all derived from the basic three, Red, Blue and Yellow. And Red, Blue and Green can get you white.

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!
My Jefferson Nickel Collection
Anyone who has been around coins long enough knows how beautifully nickel tones.
Sold some proof sets recently ( Estate sets, in Capital holders ) on Ebay. A couple of the nickels looked yummy.
Nothing close to yours, but.... in the spirit of things.
Really nice! I like toned Jeffersons too.
Very gorgeous coins. My extent of collecting nickels has been errors, specifically delaminations on V nickels, buffalos and pre-war and war nickels. There's something perfect about imperfection, to me.
Those are stunning pieces. I envy your eye. The only one I'd have passed on would be the 46, but that might be why you're a better nickel collector than I.
You have great taste and I love the colors your showing us here. Looks to me like your doing just fine with your selections.
Look nice. I have a bunch too...

You gotta love the old cardboard holder /album toned Jeff's.
Your 1951-S is my favourite of the bunch.
1948 and 1949 are dates I tend to see with regularly.
I wonder why?
Welcome to your new obsession........we look forward to your new acquisitions.
