Will PSA grade a card with questionable auto?

I sent in an autographed card for PSA's dual authentication - they determined the autograph was questionable, so they returned it without providing a card grade.

The PSA submission seems to indicate I'm out of luck to get the card graded:

If I resubmit it just for card grading, would they potentially grade it and consider it "marked"? This was lining up to be my most valuable card so I'm trying to see if there's any grading possibility aside from resubmitting the autograph and hoping for a different outcome (from PSA or a different TPA). It's not a perfect card, but I thought it had some potential for a 6 or maybe a higher grade with an OC qualifier.
