Unknown currency?

Hello everyone,

My dad recently asked me if I could possibly find out anything on these two notes?
He got them when he was young and living in London at the time.
Can anyone identify them and has any information about them?

Regards,
Nick

Welcome aboard, I am not a currency guy but From what i can tell the top note is a German note, issued Feb. 1 1923, bidding on a PMG graded note on ebay is at about $15.00. Bottom note is Hungarian issue (well worn, torn) and as stated above Jan 2,1902. 10-20$ on ebay.

The Hungarian note also has a Romanian overprint. I can't find an exact reference in my books, but it looks like it might be a provisional issue for post-WWI Romania?
