Edelman is a class act all the way, on and off the field.
Lot of class acts on this Patriots team, including of course the coach and owner.
I am reminded of the late great hockey coach Herb Brooks and how he put together that 1980 gold medal winning Olympic hockey team which faced huge odds against the decades long powerful Soviet Union team.
When putting together that team, it was noticed that Brooks was cutting some of the best players, and was asked about it. He replied (paraphrase) "I'm not looking for the best players, i'm looking for the right ones."
Say whatever ya want about Bill Belichick, but it's not debatable that he consistently puts together a team of winning players. His track record of amazing success year after year proves that.
While other deadhead GM's and coaches are out there willing to pay overly exorbitant money to the latest free agent mercenary looking to "get paid" who too often is destined to under perform and disappoint, Belichick outsmarts all of them with his knack of choosing the right players.
Just heard on the local Atlanta news...cheapest ticket is now just under $3k...average ticket is well over $5k. For those who really have $$ to burn, there are even $100k++ tickets available!! INSANITY
Good on Edelman, doesn't get much cooler than that.
