Was Dmitri looking for a Fernando rookie in a 10, or that particular card ? Any reason ?
I was making a (apparently unfunny) joke comparing the 95 upper deck card to the 81 topps rookie. I dont think dmitri or anyone else is really losing sleep over the 1995 upper deck card. The pop report says that card has been submitted a total of 3 times and has gotten two 10s. (That would certainly be LOW POP! in an ebay header)

Just wondering how you know he's holding a bat ?
Do you not think that it's a bat handle in the regular 1973 Topps issue? Whatever it is, Topps completely airbrushed it out of the pin-ups. I believe it's a bat handle.

On the subject of pitchers who could hit, I just happened to look at this card back while going through a stack, and I don't remember having noticed it before:

I'd say that's a pretty good day... for the new age stat guys, what's the "win probability added" value for a game like that? 1.0?

He is holding a bat, but Topps cut it out of the picture behind hia head
And it looks like the pin-ups card took the handle out of the picture, too.

Card reminds me of the time Clemens threw that broken piece of the bat towards Mike Piazza.
this guy was underrated
I only liked him cuz he played for the sox
no, this isnt an error card with pic prince fielder
rumor is dmitri young spent 10 years and a lot of money looking for this one in a PSA10
better hitter than half the DHs in AL

Someday I'm going to write a post about how underrated the 81 fleer set is
George Hunter was Ohtani before Ohtani was Ruth
Topps NOW cards should be cheating on this thread. Someone call me out on hat. But 467 feet is a long way
I just said Topps NOW was cheating. And yet I do it again

Cut it out with the Topps NOW cards already!
No more NOW cards!!
OK one more
Back to vintage ...
enough vintage ... more topps NOW
I think the NOW guys would like this thread
He hits better than he throws to first
This bad boy begs to differ.

If we determined holding a bat qualifies for this thread, can I interest you in a pitcher wearing a batting helmet?

Fernando wants to get in on the action:
This guy could hit, disappointed no one has mentioned him
So could this guy:
Correct.
Zombrano could rake too, but he had already been mentioned.
Hell Hampton hit .291 on the season with the Rockies one year.
