Upon Losing Ones Card Collecting Friends

Over the past 1 1/2 years I lost my 2 closest friends within the hobby. Spent many times frequenting card shows together,buying/selling from each other, learning about old/new cards, and sharing the usual comraderie that exists within our hobby. The mutual friendship with these 2 friends lasted almost 30 years. I was fortunate to know them both. Here's a shout out to them with the hope wherever they may be,they are busting boxes. Bill "Willie" and Tom, may you RIP.

Thanks for all the comments. Stone (Mike)no, my 2 friends did not belong to the forum. One shunned the computer, while the other although computer savvy, had no interest in sports forums.

Sorry for your losses. I've lost a couple friends from this hobby but nobody I had ever met in person. But I've only met about 4 people from this hobby, and I don't believe any are on this forum. My model car hobby has lost a lot of friends. And none from old age, mostly freak stuff and cancer.
