Anyone notice this on ebay.....

Several times over the past few weeks, I have seen an item sell for 2-3 times what it has been selling for through a BIN and then a day later, be put up for auction by a different seller. Almost as if someone was trying to inflate the price history (It was a PSA card, so it will have not only the PSA price history, but VCP as well). The main reason this looks suspicious, other than the BIN for a high amount, is the fact that it would be nearly impossible to purchase/shp/receive/relist card in a 24 hour period.
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

Give us some examples please. This is kind of what the buyer group did a year ago or more, but they did it with auctions not buy it now--just bid everything into the sky.
Newly lited.....see cert number

Same cert number on both cards, yet different sellers with the newer item listed only hours after the first one sold. Granted this is a lower dollar card, but I have seen this happen on many others higher in value
The original seller left feedback for the current seller. Also one seller is in NY the other in Pennsylvania,if both accounts are the same person then its definitely shady.
There are a couple consignment sellers that i see doing this type of stuff on Michael Jordan cards but there isn't much to do about it.

On one hand, the original seller and the new seller do not appear to be the same person. On the other, if this sold via BIN for 2-3 times what its worth, then they have to be "in on it" together. Although, its a dumb scam and I don't know how anyone with a brain falls for this type of price manipulation/inflation. Some very gullible people out there for sure.
At least they changed the picture, though.
I actively collect Kirby Puckett. I have collections of Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Roberto Clemente, Dwight Gooden, Tom Seaver, Errict Rhett and Evan Longoria.
Just an update....this same card, which originally sold at a BIN for $60, then relisted the same day, just sold for $51 at auction and now has been relisted again, by a third buyer at auction. Only thing I can figure out is dude is sitting on a crapload of these and is wanting to raise the average sell price and is using three different accounts to do it
