    Yikes! That would be a tough note to pass off as CU 1928Ds are few.

    I wonder if the thieves know the true value of what they have stolen. If you got some random thief who just sees old money in plastic, might said thief cut the money out of the holder and go to Walmart, or buy drugs? Terrifying.

    A NY dealer I know had half a million in numismatic currency stolen, he said that they could just spend it without alerting attention.

    There are high tech theft interdiction tactics that the best PIs know; if they were paid based on performance not a flat fee, a top notch gumshoe could catch these thieves.

    One suggestion is to post the serial numbers so anyone performing a Search might find them

    This items serial number should be entered into NCIC by the law enforcement agency that the theft was reported to. Peace Roy
