Auction Houses

Bid on a medal described as "Cast Bronze Medal." Received it today. Plastic pocket describes item as LEAD cast.
Called auction house and high tone query; how do you know it is lead? Because, That Is What it Says on the Pocket. And it looks like lead.

I was told to send a photo of the pocket so my claim can be verified.

Would you share the name of the auction house here ?

Timbuk3: I sent you a PM. I am awaiting a response and if it is reasonable, I see no reason to slur them. Just annoyed at a gross mislabeling in the auction description and the initial officious response. The tune did change when I pointed out that their own pocket listed the item as lead.

Is there a big difference in the valuations or desirability? Silly of them to act high handed though when you called to ask them about it---especially as it was their cataloging error.
