I think I know why the log in delays

I think the delays are because of the crazy modern cards. I am doing a sub and my nephew gave me 100 modern cards and it took me about 4 hrs to log them myself because there are variations, there are 10 versions of the same card, what a pain!!! When people were just grading vintage it is a whole lot quicker. In addition to a previous thread that mentioned Pokemon and yugioh and magic cards, the newest generation of dorks like us.

That's what I was thinking too. To do it quickly, you would almost need software with a library of images from newer cards that would recognize images of the cards and match them to the variation. Maybe a library of images provided by Topps, Panini, etc? If you had something like that, I think you could scan the cards quicker than you could look them up.
