I've been trying to find the factory set version. Why is it so difficult to find this card. Factory sets were plentiful but the single is rarely listed. Thoughts on factory set production numbers ?

It isn't as plentiful as you may think. I lost part of my factory set to a flood in 2015 and I've been unable to replace them. Luckily, my LeBron was not damaged but my Chris Bosh was. I've been trying to find a replacement since the flood occurred, but they either aren't available or the people want crazy money due to the presence of LeBron. I'm not going to spend $500 to replace 20 cards I already had.
