Anyone have one and willing to share what the bid/ask are?
TIA

275 bid, 300 ask
But these are generally high relative to current market.

Heritage just sold a group of FOUR sets for $630 (premium included).
Not all set are equal some bring BIG bucks while others not so much.
I have seen soooo many fake double mint sets it is not funny. To be honest it is sad and prices are all over as expected.
A truly original average set values about $300.00 to 330.00. and one with great color and strike may bring up to 10 times that. Fake sets maybe $100.00 to 200.00 each
Looks like quite a few have been selling on ebay in the $105-$150 range this past month or so.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

This is really not true. The early mint sets routinely sell for 50-60% of greysheet. This is NOT true of the post-1958 mint sets, by the way, but the earlier ones are waaaaay overpriced on the greysheet. Even original ones. The ones in the Heritage listing I posted have the original envelopes.
Send John F a message. I am sure that he can help you set up a subscription to the Grey Sheet.
yes it is!
sorry everyone has a right to an opinion howerer!
It's not really an opinion. It's the market.

Then there's eBay...
All good.
Local dealer said he would pay 70% for most of them. More if they really look nice.
I have some dupes I bought from board member Tassa years ago here (no rainbows) that I believe to be original...just don't want to break them up and thinking of selling now.
Sounds like that 70% might be a good deal.

Grey sheets prices for double mint sets skyrocketed several years ago, and are still on a downward trend since. Agree with you that prices vary greatly, but think average set prices are a tad lower, say Bid or 10% back of Bid. I've sold several sets recently at around 80-90% Bid. So dealer offer of 70% Bid sounds about right.
Over the last couple of shows I've seen two 1956 sets priced over $1000., very nice rainbow color sets. A rainbow non-56 set sold for 3x Bid.
The links above to HA and Ebay are just a few sales from just two venues, and are average to ugly sets (or lousy pictures and average to ugly), and the lowest priced sales. Not representative of the market. I like HA, but it's not a good venue to sell double mint sets.
